MELBOURNE (ICIS)--India's Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Co (GNFC) plans to start up a new 50,000 tonne/year ethyl acetate (etac) plant at Bharuch in Gujarat state in September, said a company official on Thursday.

The plant is mechanically near completion, and the company has begun testing some sections of the unit to prepare for the commercial start-up, the official said.
