Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan nominates Sept PX ACP at $1,520/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan has nominated its September paraxylene (PX) Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,520/tonne (€1,216/tonne), a company source said on Thursday.

The nominated price is $30/tonne higher than its August nomination at $1,490/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia.

Rival Japanese producer JX Nippon Oil & Energy nominated its September ACP at $1,500/tonne CFR Asia earlier on, while another aromatics major, ExxonMobil, has yet to announce its September nomination.
