HOUSTON (ICIS)--The fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit at US CITGO’s Lemont refinery in Illinois is back online, a company official said on Thursday.
The FCC at the 167,000 bbl/day refinery is back at full production rates and the coker unit is also operating normally, the CITGO official said.
The coking unit tripped out of production on 17 August, according to a notice filed with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
The FCC was shut for repairs in late July following an equipment issue.
