S Korea’s Hanwha Chemical to shut Yeosu VCM plant in October

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>South Korea’s Hanwha Chemical plans to shut its 360,000 tonne/year vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant in Yeosu in October for turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
The VCM unit maintenance will last for around 25 days, the source said.
Hanwha Chemical also operates a 250,000 tonne/year VCM facility at Ulsan that will similarly undergo a turnaround in October.By: Feliana Widjaja+65 6780 4327
