Japan’s Asahi Kasei plans Kawasaki MMA turnaround on 27 September

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Japan’s Asahi Kasei plans to shut its 100,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant in Kawasaki on 27 September for a planned turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
The shutdown is expected to last 47 days, the source said.
The plant was also taken off line early this year – on 22 February to 13 March – for scheduled turnaround.
