HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner ExxonMobil reported an equipment failure at its 344,500 bbl/day Beaumont refinery in Texas, the company said in a state regulatory filing made available on Friday.

The company reported emissions from its gasoline making fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

There is some impact to production expected with the equipment failure, but all contractual commitments should be met, the filing said.
