Methanol truck-bus collision kills 36 in Shaanxi, China - report

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--A vehicle collision between a passenger bus and a methanol tank truck on killed 36 early Sunday morning, China News Agency reported on Monday.

The accident occurred at 2:00 local time Beijing time (19:00 GMT) on 26 August at an express way in Yan’an city.

The truck was enroute to deliver about 35 tonnes of methanol from Yulin Energy and Chemical Co to Shandong province when the collision happened, according to the report.
