SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea's Samsung Total is operating its 1m tonne/year Daesan cracker at 100% capacity, in spite of typhoon Bolaven, a company source said on Tuesday.

The typhoon caused heavy rain and strong wind in southern and western South Korea, after passing by Okinawa, Japan on Monday.

“The cracker is unaffected,” the source added.
