LONDON (ICIS)--Grace China, a subsidiary of US specialty chemicals company WR Grace, announced on Tuesday it has broken ground on its new waterproofing products facility in the central Chinese city of Ezhou.
Financial details of the facility’s construction costs were not disclosed.
The planned 11,000m² facility, scheduled to be complete by the second half of 2013, is located in the Ezhou Economic Development Zone of Hubei Province, Grace said.
The company added that the facility is expected to double its regional production capacity for specialty waterproofing products sold to Chinese customers and exported to the rest of Asia, Latin America and other fast-growing emerging markets.
