SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jiangsu Clear Land Daily Chemicals Co Ltd (JLL) has restarted its 6,000 tonne/year glycerine plant at Huaian City in Jiangsu province on 28 August, a company source said on Wednesday.

“The plant was shut for a four-day technical maintenance,” the company source said, adding that the shutdown was planned in advance.

The shutdown and restart of JLL's glycerine plant in east China have minimal impact on the glycerine spot market and prices because its output is supplied largely to the company’s regular customers, according to the source.
