SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Japan’s Tokuyama Corp plans to shut its 490,000 dry metric tonne (dmt)/year caustic soda unit at Yamaguchi prefecture on 19 September for maintenance until late October, a company source said on Wednesday.
The producer’s four production lines will be taken off line in sequence, the source added.
Tokuyama currently has no export volume for the spot market as it is allocating its quantity to the domestic market as well as contractual commitments, according to the source. By: Feliana Widjaja+65 6780 4327
