SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Futai Glycerin Refining will shut its 15,000 tonne/year crude glycerine plant at Qingyuan city in south China on 5 September, a company source said on Wednesday.

The company plans to shut the plant for five days of maintenance, the source added.

The shutdown will not have much impact on the spot market as the demand is weak, according to the source.

Futai Glycerin Refining had taken the unit off line on 10 August for about one week for maintenance.
