SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Chinese producer China National BlueStar (Group) Co Ltd plans to restart its 40,000 tonne/year polyoxymethylene (POM) line in Shanghai in mid-September, a company source said on Thursday.

The line was shut on 20 August for scheduled maintenance and it may be kept off line for around 20 days, the source added.

The shutdown will have little impact on the POM market as suppliers have high inventories because of weak downstream demand, a local distributor said.
