China’s TSRC-UBE restarts BR plant after maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s TSRC-UBE (Nantong) Chemical Industrial plans has restarted its 72,000 tonne/year butadiene rubber (BR) plant in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on 29 August after a month of routine maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant was taken off line on 28 July, the source said.

TSRC-UBE (Nantong) is 55%-owned by Taiwan Synthetic Rubber Corp (TSRC), with Japan’s Ube Industries and Marubeni owning 25% and 20% of the company, respectively.
