HOUSTON (ICIS)--Williams' cracker in Louisiana, which went down as Hurricane Isaac swept through the state, will remain off line for maintenance, according to information on the company's website on Friday.
The unit in Geismar will resume operations after several days of maintenance, Williams said, adding, however, that the procedure was unrelated to the shutdown earlier this week.
A company spokesperson on Friday said no further updates were available.
Williams has 612,000 tonnes/year of ethylene capacity in Geismar.
