HOUSTON (ICIS)--The floodwater in parts of Phillips 66’s Alliance refinery in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, has started to recede, the company said on Friday.

The 247,000 bbl/day refinery remains shut down and is without power. The water levels in parts of the refinery are at no more than 2 inches (5cm) high.

The company said that more than 100 employees are expected to report to the refinery at the end of Friday to assist with the damage assessment and recovery.

A timeline for restart will be developed once the assessment is completed, according to Phillips 66.
