SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korean producer Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has raised the average run rates at its three crackers at Yeosu to 100% over the weekend from 85%, company sources said on Monday.
YNCC had reduced the cracker run rates to 85% from 100% because strong typhoon winds forced the shutdown of some downstream polymer units early on 28 August.
The company's three crackers at the site have ethylene capacities of 857,000 tonne/year; 578,000 tonne/year, and; 465,000 tonne/year.
Naphtha prices closed at $985-987/tonne (€778-780/tonne) CFR (cost and freight) ?xml:namespace>
