SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Lianyungang Soda Ash Plant is currently running its 1.3m/year facility in Jiangsu province at a higher rate of 80-90% following a maintenance at the unit's boiler, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant's run rate was raised to 80-90% on 31 August from 65-70% during the two-month maintenance of its boiler, the source said.

Following higher production at the unit, the company has lowered its offers for light grade soda ash to $205-210/tonne (€162-166/tonne), and for dense 99% soda ash to $210-215/tonne on 31 August, down by $5/tonne from its offers in end-July, the source said.
