LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European toluene contract for September was agreed up by €157/tonne at $1,290/tonne (€1,019/tonne), a major producer said on Tuesday.
"Spot levels have increased sharply during August due to limited availability and the September contract price reflect this,” the producer said.
The contract was settled on a free on board (FOB) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
Further confirmation from other players is pending.
