SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s PetroChina subsidiary Dushanzi Petrochemical is planning to resume its supply of solvent oils in mid-September when enough inventories have been built up, a company source said on Wednesday.

The volume for September supply is around 400 tonnes, but prices have not been decided yet, according to the source.

The company halted its supply for August because of insufficient output.

Market sources said the prices of solvent oils may rise later this month on stronger crude, but the increase may be limited as demand remains weak.

Mainstream No 120 solvent oils were traded at yuan (CNY) 9,500-9,800/tonne ($1,496-1,543/tonne) on 5 September in southern China, unchanged from the previous day, traders said.
