SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s South Petroleum & Chemical Industry plans to restart its two polyester lines with a combined capacity of 400,000 tonnes/year at Shaoxing in Zhejiang province on 6 September, a company source said on Wednesday.

The two lines, which were shut on 18 August for regular maintenance, are expected to achieve on-spec production and run at full capacity on 10 September, the company source added.

The two lines largely produce partially oriented yarn (POY) and fully drawn yarn (FDY), according to the source.
