Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical runs naphtha crackers at 85%

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japanese producer Mitsubishi Chemical is operating its three naphtha crackers at an average rate of 85% this month, the same levels as it did in August, a company source said on Wednesday.

Mitsubishi Chemical operates a 392,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker; a 489,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker in Kashima, and; a 500,000 tonne/year cracker in Mizushima, according to ICIS data.
