HOUSTON (ICIS)--Phillips 66 lost its electricity supply at its Alliance refinery in Louisiana, the company said on Wednesday.

The company said power was lost at the 247,000 bbl/day refinery in Belle Chasse from its third-party provider early in the morning but work is proceeding to resolve the problem. The provider expects to have electricity restored late in the day.

This outage will slow the start of the refinery, according to Phillips 66.

On 4 September, the company said it expected to take a couple of weeks before the refinery is running at normal rates.
