HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Valero’s Memphis refinery in Tennessee has returned to planned rates after operating at reduced levels following the shut down of a supply pipeline, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.
The 180,000 bbl/day refinery is supplied primarily by Shell’s Capline pipeline, which was temporarily shut down last week because of Hurricane Isaac.
The pipeline transports crude oil from the US Gulf coast to the midwest. It was restarted late last week.
