SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced on late Wednesday that it has granted approval in August to China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) for building an oil product pipeline in northwestern China’s Ningxia province.
The pipeline would have a transmission capacity of 1.9m tonnes/year, extending from Yinchuan to Bayan Zhuo’er with a trunk length of 373km, according to NDRC, China’s top economic planner.
It also includes a 6.7km-long sub-line, NDRC said, without giving further details.
The yuan (CNY) 880m ($139m) pipeline will deliver gasoline and diesel from CNPC’s 100,000 bbl/day refinery in Ningxia.
