Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon Nantong to restart PMMA unit on 13 Sept

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon Co (MRC) will restart its 60,000 tonne/year polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) plant at Nantong in China's Jiangsu province on 13th September, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant was taken off line on 15 August for a scheduled turnaround.

Other PMMA manufacturers in Asia include South Korea’s LG MMA, Japan’s Sumitomo Chemical, France’s Arkema and Taiwan’s Chi Mei.
