SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) plans to restart its 280,000 tonne/year and 170,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) units on 7 and 8 September respectively at Ningbo in China’s Zhejiang province, a company source said on Thursday.
The plant was shut on 1 September because of a delay in transportation of feedstock propylene, the source added.
Local distributors expect the shutdown to have limited impact on the market because of its short duration.By: Lizzie Yu
