Czech chemical production growth entirely flat in July

LONDON (ICIS)--Czech production of chemicals and chemical products saw no year-on-year growth in July, with progress in the segment’s output recorded at 0.0%, the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) said on Thursday.

Overall industrial production in the Czech Republic during July rose by 4.2% year on year, with seasonally adjusted output up by 1.1% in the month from June, the  CZSO added.

Other year-on-year results included rubber and plastic products production entirely flat at 0.0%, textiles manufacturing edging up by 0.1%, the manufacture of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers rising by 1.4%, and furniture production edging down by 0.1%.
