SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Mitsui Chemicals plans to shut down its 90,000 tonne/year bisphenol A (BPA) plant in Chiba on 18 October for maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
The plant will be kept off line for 43 days until 29 November, he added.
The plant has been running at relatively low operating rate, the source said without elaborating.
