Price movements and the factors behind them are vital components for buyers and sellers in the global chemical industry to make business decisions. Starting this issue, we will bring you even more of this critical information from more than 250 pricing and news editors who serve ICIS worldwide.

This will be incorporated primarily in our new Price & Market Trends section. Every issue will have about 10 pages of articles in this section on global price movements and major project activity that could affect prices.

This will span petrochemicals, polymers, intermediates, inorganics, oleochemicals and biofuels, as well as feedstocks ethane and naphtha.

We have pricing editors covering every major global region, from the Americas to Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

In Asia, we have significantly strengthened our coverage since the acquisition in December 2010 of CBI China, with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou complementing our Singapore hub. In November 2011, we acquired Parpinelli Tecnon in Milan, Italy, adding another element to the global ICIS Consulting business.

Our goal is to bring you the very best of what we produce in the ICIS group worldwide in every issue.
