Exports in July were also 28.4% higher than the 226,857 tonnes shipped in June, the ITC said.
According to market sources, while domestic demand for PVC has been flat in recent months, export demand has remained fairly healthy.
China was the top destination for US PVC exports in July at 44,047 tonnes, followed by Canada, Russia and Turkey.
Major US PVC producers include Westlake Chemical, Occidental Chemical, Formosa Plastics, Shintech and Georgia Gulf.
