Korea Alcohol to shut Ulsan etac/butac plant for overhaul in Oct

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--South Korean producer Korea Alcohol Industrial is planning to shut its 85,000 tonne/year ethyl acetate (etac)/butyl acetate (butac) swing plant in Ulsan on 13 October for annual maintenance, a company official said on Wednesday.

The overhaul will likely take around 10 days to complete, the official said.

Korea Alcohol is South Korea’s sole producer of etac and butac.
