China's Cangzhou Dahua TDI unit shut on mechanical issues

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Cangzhou Dahua Chemical’s toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) facility because of mechanical issues, and is scheduled to resume operations on 13 September, sources close to the company said on Wednesday.

The unit, which has a TDI nameplate capacity of 30,000 tonnes/year, was taken off line on 11 September, the source said.

Cangzhou Dahua has three TDI units at the site with a combined capacity of 150,000 tonnes/year. The two units are currently operating, the source said.
