HOUSTON (ICIS)--INEOS Nitriles’ Green Lake acrylonitrile (ACN) plant is back in operation and producing at its planned rate, the company said on Monday.
The plant near Port Lavaca, Texas, was struck by lightning on 4 September and lost power. Plans had called for the plant to return to operation by 11 September.
The plant has a capacity of 545,000 tonnes/year of ACN, according to INEOS Nitriles.
