HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner ExxonMobil has resumed operations at its Chalmette refinery in Louisiana and its offshore facilities in the Gulf of Mexico, which were shut because of Hurricane Isaac, the company said on Tuesday.
The 192,500 bbl/day Chalmette Refining site was shut since the end of August in preparation for the hurricane.
The company said its 502,000 bbl/day Baton Rouge refinery in Louisiana is working to return to normal operations. That refinery reduced operating rates in preparation for the storm.
