SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s CPC Corp has been running its 385,000 tonne/year No 4 naphtha cracker in Linyuan at 80% capacity since mid-September, down from the previous 100% because of high stocks, a company official said on Wednesday.

“We cut the operating rates to 80% capacity last week because of high stocks but we may raise it back to 100% next week,” he added.

The company also operates a 500,000 tonne/year No 5 naphtha cracker in Kaohsiung which is currently running at 100% capacity, the official added.
