Thailand’s IRPC plans PP plant maintenance in December

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex (IRPC) plans to shut its polypropylene (PP) facilities at Map Ta Phut, Rayong province in December for a 20-day turnaround, a company source said on Wednesday.

The exact date of the turnaround was not immediately available.

The facilities scheduled for maintenance consist of three plants with a combined capacity of 510,000 tonnes/year, according to ICIS data.

The maintenance was originally scheduled for October, the source said, without giving further details on why the turnaround was postponed.
