Foster Wheeler wins contract for Canada potash project

TORONTO (ICIS)--Foster Wheeler has won a contract for work on a planned 625,000 tonne/year potash project in Canada, the international petrochemicals engineering firm said on Thursday.

Foster said that the contract award, from Alberta-based Karnalyte Resources, is for engineering, procurement and construction management service at the project near Wynyard in Canada’s Saskatchewan province.

Financial details and timelines for construction or completion were not disclosed.
