China’s Fushun Petrochemical delays new cracker start-up to 28 Sept

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina’s subsidiary Fushun Petrochemical has delayed the start-up of its new 800,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker located in Fushun, Liaoning province to 28 September from its original schedule of 20 August, a company official said on Friday.

“August was the original schedule but we have delayed the start up to 28 September," the official said without providing reasons for the delay.

Fushun Petrochemical currently operates a 150,000 tonne/year cracker at the same site.
