HOUSTON (ICIS)--CITGO shut down a gas recovery compressor system at its 167,000 bbl/day Lemont refinery in Illinois because of an electrical issue, the refiner said on Friday.
The refinery released emissions of fuel gas and sulphur dioxide, according to state regulatory filings.
A company official said the issue has been resolved and no processing units were affected.
