US Phillips 66 shuts FCC unit at Borger refinery in Texas

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Phillips 66 has shut down a gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit for maintenance at its Borger refinery in Texas, the company said on Monday in a regulatory filing.

Phillips 66 plans to restart the unit 40 FCC on 21 October, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

Meanwhile, the company also said in the filing that it will shut its unit 29 FCC on 29 October and restart it on 20 November.

The Borger refinery has a capacity of 146,000 bbl/day.
