PETRONAS plans three sulphur units at Malaysia petchem complex

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Malaysia’s energy and petrochemicals major PETRONAS plans to build three sulphur recovery units in Johor, US chemical engineering firm Jacobs said on Tuesday.

Jacobs, which won a contract for the sulphur plants' basic engineering package, said the units would be part of PETRONAS’s planned Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) complex in the country’s southern Johor state.

Capacities or financial details were not disclosed.
