US October benzene rises 20 cents/gal on tight supply

HOUSTON (ICIS)--The October benzene contract price settled at $4.40/gal on Friday, up 20 cents/gal from the previous month on the back of tight supplies during September.
The increase was in line with market expectations from earlier in the week, reflecting the jump in spot prices during the September.
