SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Hanwha Chemical plans to shut its 200,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Ulsan in the second half of October for a turnaround, a source close to the company said on Monday.
The maintenance period will last for two weeks, the source added.
Hanwha also operates a 350,000 tonne/year PVC unit at Yeosu and a 300,000 tonne/year PVC facility at Ningbo in China.
