LONDON (ICIS)--The October European acetone methyl methacrylate (MMA) contract price has been agreed at a decrease of €20/tonne from September on the back of a drop in feedstock propylene, market sources confirmed on Monday.
The price was agreed at €930/tonne ($1,192/tonne) FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe).
“We have no problems in securing the acetone we need and we don't see the market as tight,” the buyer said.
The October propylene contract price settled at €1,140/tonne FD NWE, also down by €20/tonne from September.
