SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s polyvinyl chloride (PVC) list prices announced for October shipments were unchanged from September, market sources said on Tuesday.
Prices for October parcels rolled over from the previous month at Indian rupees (Rs) 77-78/kg ($1.47-1.49) DEL (delivered).
A key regional producer said that any change in the list price, if required, would be made once a better idea of Asian and US offers to India emerged after China markets resume business next week. China is presently closed for National Day celebrations from 1-7 October.
The producer added that it would continue to observe the strengthening Indian rupee versus the US dollar, before announcing a revision to the list price.
A separate regional producer said that a correction in the list prices was likely, but would come about after the evaluation of Asian offers to the region, in view of an active China market.
