Japan's Polyplastics shuts Fuji polyacetal unit for turnaround

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Japan’s Polyplastics has shut its 100,000 tonne/year polyoxymethylene (POM, polyacetal) facility at Fuji, Shizuoka province, for maintenance, a company source said on Monday.
The facility, which is the world’s largest POM plant, was taken off line on 1 October and will be down for a month, the source said.By: Jingyi Chan65 6780 4259
