LONDON (ICIS)--Kuwait Petroleum has started planned maintenance work at its base oils facility in the Netherlands, a company source said on Tuesday.

The 235,000 tonne/year unit, situated in Rotterdam, went down on 28 September, and will remain offline for 4 weeks while technical work is carried out.

The company previously said it would build stocks ahead of the stoppage and is not currently active in the export spot market.
