Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical runs naphtha crackers at 85% capacity

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japanese producer Mitsubishi Chemical is operating its three naphtha crackers at an average rate of 85% in October, the same levels as it did in September, a company source said on Thursday.

Mitsubishi Chemical operates a 392,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker as well as a 489,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker in Kashima.

It also operates a 500,000 tonne/year cracker in Mizushima, according to ICIS data.
