SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korean producer LG Chem is operating its two crackers at 100% capacity for October, the same levels as it did for September, a company spokesperson said on Friday.
“The crackers are working at full capacity,” the spokesperson said.
LG Chem operates a “slightly expanded” 940,000 tonne/year cracker in Daesan and a 1m tonne/year cracker in Yeosu, according to the spokesperson.
Meanwhile, LG Chem has no plans for cracker maintenance in 2013, he said.
“We are not planning on it next year,” the spokesperson said.
